About Our Clergy

The Very Rev. Canon Michael Penfield is a very warm, friendly, down-to-earth man who is caring, jovial, and compassionate. He loves gardening, animals, good food, and great wine. Fr. Mike is also a third grade, public school teacher who loves children and teaching. He teaches at Daniel Lairon Elementary School in San Jose.

Fr. Mike is both a Dean, representing California and Nevada, and a Canon lawyer.  He has been rector of Saint Luke's Chapel in the Hills Anglican Church since May, 2002.  Father Penfield has an AB in English, a Masters in Economics, and a Doctorate in Law.  He is a priest in good standing with the Reform Episcopal Church and the Anglican Church of North America.
